Get Ready to Join the 2026 Southside Slamwich! The official Slamwich must be a sandwich—no burgers or patties are permitted.

We’re excited to invite local Southside restaurants (located south of 41st St, spanning east to west in Sioux Falls, SD) to participate in the 3rd Annual Southside Slamwich! While the 2025 event is fully booked, planning for February 2026 is already underway, and we’d love for you to showcase your culinary creativity in this fun and impactful event.

The Slamwich is designed to highlight local mom-and-pop shops during slower months, ensuring every participant gets a chance to shine while guests enjoy each delicious creation. All participating restaurants must secure their spot with an upfront $350 deposit, which will cover the costs of the website, marketing, radio (which will be new this year), print materials, and the iconic Slamwich chain. A jury carefully manages the event to ensure fairness and smooth coordination.
